Born and raised in México, Sandra Dolores Gómez Amador (she/ella) is a poet, editor, and interpreter-translator. She earned her BA in English Literature from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and, currently, she is an MFA student in Creative Writing and Teaching Associate at The University of Tennessee, where she teaches Introduction to Creative Writing and First-Year Composition. Sandra Dolores has earned multiple awards and recognitions. Recently, she was awarded the Bellevue Literary Review 2024 Allman Prize for Poetry. She is a Tin House, Community of Writers, British Centre for Literary Translation, and Letras Latinas fellow. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in EPOCH, Punto de Partida, The McNeese Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. She co-founded the University Network of Women Writers. She is working on her first poetry collection and is the nonfiction editor for Grist Journal.

Sandra Dolores Gómez Amador nació y creció en México. Es poeta, editora e intérprete-traductora. Es Licenciada en Literatura Inglesa por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y candidata a Maestra en Escritura Creativa en la Universidad de Tennessee, en donde también se desarrolla como profesora de asignatura. Sandra Dolores ha sido acredora de diversos premios y reconocimientos literarios. Recientemente, ganó el premio Bellevue Literary Review 2024 Allman Prize for Poetry. Es becaria de Tin House, Community of Writers, British Centre for Literary Translation y Letras Latinas. Su trabajo ha sido o será publicado en EPOCH, Punto de Partida, The McNeese Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, entre otros. Es co-fundadora de la Red Universitaria de Mujeres Escritoras. Actualmente, está escribiendo su primer colección de poesía y es editora en jefe de no-ficción en la revista Grist Journal.
